Thank you for visiting our website.  I have been a general dentist since 1977. I have obtained ongoing additional training in surgery and implants since the American Dental Association removed them from the experimental list in 1987.  Most people do well with the things that they enjoy.  My father, a 1947 dental school graduate loved surgery and passed his love and experience along to me. I have applied this love of surgery to the areas of implants, bone grafting, wisdom tooth and endodontic surgery.

Continuing education has always been important.  As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry I am required to have twice as much continuing education as the Tennessee State Board requirement.

  Although I offer all procedures other than orthodontics in my office, I have focused the web site toward implants.  I believe that when the patient is made aware of what is possible they will naturally want what is best for them. To that end you will find several links to sites that offer a large body of information.

   The technology available today allows the dental profession to offer the patient whatever he or she desires. I strive to offer that kind of complete care in my practice.  I believe the same doctor who will build the restoration should place the implants, in most cases.  This offers the best quality control and prevents the patient from being referred all over town to get the treatment completed.  There is much value in the one on one relationship created step by step as we walk together toward the goal you desire.
